This is a Justrite Horizontal circa 1937-38, the last
model year for the Horizontal, after this came the
Justrite Streamlined caplamps. This lamp has 19 bumps
for the water lever to ride on, removable 2.5" reflector
and a thin spade mount for miners helmets. This lamp
also has the black "Air Cooled Grip" on the carbide
chamber - Justrite Mfg. Co.
This is a Justrite Horizontal circa 1923, and includes
the thumb striker (Patented Sept. 19th 1922) to make it
easier to fire up the lamp. This lamp features 16 bumbs
for the Polygon Feed water lever to ride on. lamp patent
dates of 1912, 13 & 15, it also includes the words "Made
in U.S.A." along the side with the patent dates. The
brass reflector is the integral 2 5/16" version -
Justrite Mfg. Co.
