Guys Dropper 6 date caplamp, thin spade mount -

This lamp was modified by the original owner/miner with
the addition of a soldered reflector hood. Various
examples of this type of modified carbide lamp can be

Flame Light Book" by Pohs starting on page 533.

Guys Dropper 2 date nickel plated caplamp, which
originally had a hook & wire braces for miners caps -
Shanklin Mfg. Co.
This lamp was modified by the original owner/miner with
the addition of a soldered heavy duty wire and wooden
handle. The bottom is a Justrite nickel plated carbide
bottom with the incused stamping "Dec 30 19 Patented &
Made in U.S.A." - Justrite Mfg. Co.
